This winter the Washington Wizards challenge you to read! We've teamed up with DC Public Library, Prince George's County Memorial Library System, and Alexandria Library to invite your family to stay active and engaged with our Winter Reading Challenge! School-aged children and teens can sign up and earn badges that encourage reading for pleasure, joining interactive virtual events, sharing and connecting with the library community and finding fun ways to be physically active. This challenge is a great way to find healthy habits that your family will love and can add to your routine all year round.
The Wizards Winter Reading Challenge ran from January 1 - March 31, 2021. Check back in November 2021 for information on our next Winter Reading Challenge.
How do you get started?
Our challenge is offered at three different library systems in the Washington Metropolitan. Sign up through Beanstack at any of the participating libraries. Registration is free and the challenge runs from January 1 - March 31.
If you have participated in past reading programs, you can log in to your account with your username and password. Make sure your email is up to date as that is how the library will notify you about prizes. Having trouble registering? Contact your neighborhood library and they will get you ready to compete!
